Twin-Spindle Grinding – Two Processes in One Setup

Our twin-spindle grinding solution combines two dedicated grinding operations in a single setup. The first spindle performs efficient roughing with high material removal, while the second spindle takes over the finishing operation to achieve the required dimensional accuracy and surface quality.

Depending on the application, different grinding processes can be combined – for example roughing and finishing of gears and splines, thread and OD grinding, internal and external grinding or worm and bearing seat grinding.

Grinding wheels, dressing concepts and machine configuration can be individually adapted to the specific requirements of each application, ensuring flexibility, consistent performance and high-quality results.
